Another Set Of Health Cards Distributed to Palayan City Residents
Last June 2017, Palayan City residents who are declared indigents by the local Social Welfare and Development office received free medicines through a health card.
Rianne Cares Health Program issued another set of health cards last March 27 to the indigents of the 19 barangays of the city. Each card has P5,000 load value, but Mr. Bong Cuevas announced that it will get a P2,000 reload value until its renewal date in July 2019.
The health card will automatically be renewed with P5,000 load value annually.
Health card recipients only need to present their doctor’s prescription to their partner pharmacies – Botika Gabriel, Power Pharma Drug Store, and to its new partner, Emedsure Pharmacy.
Emedsure Pharmacy opened its store in the Government Building at the Palayan City Business Hub in time for the distribution of the health cards.
Apart from the prescribed generic medicines, Cuevas, also the president of Riannce Cares Foundation, has included milk formulas and food supplements in the list that the indigents can avail of using their Rianne Care health card.
In addition to that, he is set to hand out a separate card for more than a hundred of his patients who are undergoing health maintenance that need longer medical attention.
Prior to entering politics, the Rianne Cares Foundation, formerly called Rianne Cuevas Holdings Inc., has been providing medical assistance to Palayanos, as well as nutrition and scholarship programs, foundation education for day care students, and employment opportunities.
The health care foundation is a project of Palayan City Mayor Rianne Joson-Cuevas that is funded by Creative Pacific Corporation, a non-government social work organization.
“The Rianne Cares Program is our company’s way of giving back to our community in Palayan City,” a spokesperson for Creative Pacific Corporation said.

With Rianne Cares Foundation’s new partnership with Emedsure Pharmacy-PCBH, Palayanos can further enjoy the benefits of the health care program.
The indigent cardholder simply has to consult a medical doctor for diagnosis and prescription to avail of their free generic medicines at Emedsure-PCBH or at the other two partner pharmacies.
This partnership of Rianne Cares Foundation with Emedsure Pharmacy-PCBH is yet another reform milestone to better assist the indigent Palayanos for more access to free health care with the support of Mayor Rianne and her husband, Mr. Bong Cuevas.
